BROADCASTING
Broadcasting is a project-based elective that allows students to explore their creativity and bring their voice and perspective to an authentic audience.
Broadcasting 1
Broadcasting 1 teaches the fundamentals of television production and broadcast journalism. The students create unique pieces throughout the year through this hands-on learning class. The students learn to use studio equipment, take accurate shots, edit, and formally piece together a story. Each project is created with the intention of practicing a specific skill set.

Broadcasting 2
Broadcasting 2 is a production-based class. The students create the announcement show, The Daily Show, and, the magazine-style show, Beyond the G year round. Their hard work is entered into state and national competitions and displayed for the community at large daily and through community time. Their work brings a unique perspective to the student body, allowing their voices to be heard.
