Choosing a Yearbook Theme...... How does a yearbook staff decide on the cover of the yearbook?  It is more than just a title and background color.  During the first weeks of production, students worked on their Theme Projects in groups of two and three.  They devised a "verbal" theme as well as the "visual"  concept that would be fitting for the school and the year.  After the theme is chosen, the students then worked on solidifying the concept and further developed and incorporated it into the 272-page middle school yearbook.  This is the first step of a production coming in full circle.
