GREETING CARDS

Greeting cards are a multi-billion dollar industry with more than six million cards sold each year.  With Christmas being the most popular card sold, shortly followed by Mother's Day and Father's Day, greeting cards are viewed as "essential" by 70% of Americans.  Their popularity began shortly after their introduction in the US in a Boston shop in 1856.  Originally created by hand, they are now a large part of what is created in the digital art field.  They are funny, beautiful, heartwarming, moving, loving, sentimental, and expressive.  They are miniature works of art.  The following represent the best in Digital Design in greeting cards.
