Posting on Instagram......   Social Media has become commonplace in today’s society.  Aside from individuals posting different aspects of their personal lives, many companies use different mediums to promote their products.  The middle school journalism program incorporated social media into the curriculum by allowing students in the class to further cover their beat. From taking pictures and writing captions to creating short videos, they kept the middle school community connected.  Throughout the entire school year, journalism students were assigned to cover an event to post on the scholastic Instagram account.
